We're raising money for tools and parts, and for training, so we can help more people and work more safely.
Why we need support
For years this work happened with very little. Parts off old motorbikes and machines, and whatever tools could be borrowed. That's how the wheelchair repairs and the hand controls got made.
The workshop is newly set up, in a space attached to Ehsan's home. Proper tools and a few parts in stock would let us take on more repairs and turn them around faster, and work more safely.
We're not trying to build something big. We just need the basic tools and parts to do good, affordable work for the people who come to us.
What your support pays for
Every one of these is something we use directly in repairs and builds.
Hand and power tools
The everyday tools a workshop runs on, so repairs are quicker and safer than working with borrowed or worn-out equipment.
A welding and fabrication setup
A welder and basic metalwork gear, so we can build frames and hand-control parts instead of improvising every join.
Wheelchair spare parts
Wheels, bearings, joysticks and batteries kept on hand, so a repair doesn't stall for weeks waiting on one part.
Bracing and seating materials
Foam, padding and straps to make and adjust braces and seating that fit the person using them.
Training and courses
Time and fees to keep learning about wheelchair systems, controls, and safer ways to build, on top of what Ehsan has taught himself.
Setting up the space safely
Workbenches, storage, lighting and safety gear, to make the space a place that's safe to work in every day.
Ways to help
Support doesn't have to mean money. A one-time gift, even a small one, buys something we don't have yet.
Tools and materials we can put straight to work help just as much. Hand or power tools, a welder, wheelchair parts, bracing foam. And if you can't give either, telling the right person about the workshop can matter as much as a donation.
